Women’s Gymnastics: Waldman, Long lead Tribe to victory at Liberty Classic

Seniors Stevie Waldman and Tricia Long finished one-two on the parallel bars to lead the Tribe to victory at the Liberty Classic in Philadelphia Saturday.

p. Waldman also led the College on the vault and floor exercise, as the squad was able to nudge past Temple, 185.725-185.550. Long paced the Tribe on the beam and in the all-around, finishing third in the latter category, while freshmen Melissa Cream and Dina McNaughton turned in key performances on the bars and vault. The squad will return to action Saturday when they meet the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.
