iPads On Sale Today, Long Lines at Richmond Apple Store

Apple’s newest hotly anticipated gadget, the iPad, goes on sale today online and at Apple retail stores nationwide.

The closest store locations to the College of William and Mary are at Short Pump Town Center outside of Richmond, and in the MacArthur Center in Norfolk. According to the Richmond
Times-Dispatch, around 200 people were line at the Short Pump Apple store this morning, hoping to procure an iPad.

The touch-screen product allows users to browse the internet, check email, view photos and movies, listen to music, and read iBooks.
