Ronald Reagan’s one-time assailant, John W. Hinckley Jr., may soon be released to Williamsburg. Hinckley has lived for the last 28 years at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Washington, D.C., but over the last four years he has been released to his mother in Williamsburg without incident and has been judged to no longer be a threat to society.
