McDonnell appoints three to BOV

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell named four appointees to the College of William and Mary’s Board of Visitors Thursday.

Joining the board are Edward Flippen M.B.A. ’67 J.D. ’74, Laura Flippen ’92 and L. Clifford Schroeder, Sr.

Edward Flippen previously served as rector of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Board of Visitors.

McDonnell also reappointed Charles Banks to the board.

The new appointees will replace Thomas Capps, Sally Gore ’56 and Suzann Matthews ’71.
