Men’s Basketball: Schneider signs with British Club

The College of William and Mary announced Tuesday that David Schneider ’10 has signed a contract with the Guildford Heat of the British Basketball League.

Schneider, the Tribe’s leading scorer at 15.5 points-per-game last season, becomes the second player from last year’s squad to sign a professional contract. Danny Sumner ’10 signed with Karhu Kauhajoki in Finland earlier this fall.

The Heat finished 11th in the 13 team BBL last season after finishing as the trophy runner up in 2009.

Schneider is scheduled to join Guildford in time to appear in the Heat’s first home game of the season Sept. 25th.
