Fans of “The Colbert Report” rejoice – the taping of the acclaimed political satire show resumed this Monday after a brief hiatus. According to the Los Angeles Times, Stephen Colbert took the time off to care for his mother, who is 91 years old and in frail health. “My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers. We are grateful and touched by your concern,” Colbert said in a tweet to his fans.
