For the 15th time in the past 16 years, the Tribe has qualified for NCAA Tournament play. Despite an early exit from the CAA tournament, the team secured an at-large bid to NCAA tourney and will open play in Charlottesville tonight at 7:30 against Georgetown.

After a 14-4-2 season in which they secured the CAA regular season title, the College will bring a defense ranked third nationally in both average goals against (0.433) and shutout percentage (0.65) to a competitive regional that includes national powerhouses UCLA and Portland. If they survive Georgetown in the opening round match, the Tribe will advance to play the winner of the region’s top seed, the University of Virginia, and Loyola College (Md.) Sunday.
