Hello and welcome, sex slaves. I’ll be your dungeon mistress, Maya Horowitz. I write the weekly “Behind Closed Doors” column for The Flat Hat.
I am a junior-ish at the College majoring in linguistics and minoring in art. So, my interest in sex is purely personal.
I’m a straight woman, but I try to keep my columns appropriate for people of all different sexualities. Comments or suggestions about being more inclusive are always welcome.
I like to think of myself as sexually open but the scope of my knowledge is limited. I’m always interested in learning more about the different ways people express
themselves sexually. And I’m a sucker for a good story.
I’m not sure where I’m going with this blog yet, so input would be sexcellent. But in order to keep the discussion from degenerating — and because I’m a naughty, naughty domintrix who gets off on power trips — here’s a list of rules:
1. I’m good in bed. Never forget that. But that doesn’t mean you have a right to know everything about my sex life. Let’s stay away from questions about me; there are far more interesting topics.
2. This is not Match.com.
Wanting to get laid is completely legit, but I’m afraid I can’t help you as concretely as a dating service would.
3. Your sexual fantasies, though I’m sure highly arousing, don’t need to be shared with the world. The purpose of a forum about sex is not to provide you with an outlet for your exhibitionism.
4. I’m happy to give advice, if your question seems like one that other readers might have. Although I will probably laugh if you send me an outlandish question, it may not make it to the website.
