Scenes of reflection: the College remembers 9/11

September 11, 2008

The College marked the seventh anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks with a Queen’s Guard memorial in the Sunken Garden.

The Wren Chapel was closed to the public throughout the day to allow students time for quiet reflection, and the College Republicans and Young Democrats placed more than 3,000 American flags in the Sunken Garden.
