Over the weekend, the College of William and Mary (1-5) fell just short of two overtime victories losing to Saint Joseph’s University 3-2 Sunday, just two days after defeating the University of Pennsylvania 3-2 in overtime. Against the Hawks, sophomore Erica Eng and freshman Leah Zamesnik notched tallies to give the Tribe a 2-1 second-half lead before the College allowed a late goal. The Tribe fell midway into the first overtime period without recording a shot in extra time. Against Penn, junior Wesley Drew and senior Lauren Giles gave the College a 2-0 lead before sophomore Jenna Cinalli scored the winning goal in overtime. The Tribe outshot the Quakers 22-14 in its first win of the season.
