Ohio resident bequeaths estate to CW

Late Circleville, Ohio resident Kenneth M. Robbins Jr. bequeathed his entire estate to The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, according to the Chillicothe Gazette.

The gift, valued at about $250,000, will establish the Kenneth M. Robbins Jr. Endowment for Architectural Preservation. The endowment is intended to ensure the preservation of the core historic area of Virginia’s restored colonial capital city.

Robbins regularly attended the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s annual antiques forum and was interested in architecture and building construction from the Chesapeake region.
