An anonymous donor has provided Earl Gregg Swem Library with a closed-circuit television (CCTV) to be used primarily for the magnification of print documents.
The donation was reportedly made by a former student at the College. The CCTV also has various features to enhance viewing, including 24-color contrast schemes and masking capabilities, typically employed in archival research and the viewing of older print material. It is also particularly useful for users with vision impairments, who will benefit from the device’s zooming function.
