Update: Honor Council referendum re-vote ‘running smoothly’

**1:34 p.m.**

Today’s Honor Council referendum vote and election “seem to be running smoothly,” Honor Council Elections Committee Chairman Will Eaton ’09 said in an e-mail to The Flat Hat.

The referendum is being re-done today after significant technical problems forced the original vote on Monday to be cancelled. Errors in the ballot’s coding prevented some students from casting their votes and allowed individuals unauthorized access to the ballot itself.

Undergraduates at the College of William and Mary are voting on the 24 members of the Honor Council as well as a referendum instituting multiple changes to the Honor Code.

The vote is being held on the online survey tool Opinio. Students can vote until 8 p.m. tonight, when the polls will close.
