Breaking news: Tribe draws Weber State in playoffs

The College will open the 2009 FCS playoffs at home against Weber State on Nov. 28, after which a likely matchup against third-seeded Southern Illinois would follow. The news was incorrectly reported on ESPNEWS during the FCS selection show, which had the College facing Eastern Illinois.

Weber State finished the regular season with a 7-4 record and a no. 15 national ranking. The Wildcats lost to FBS Wyoming and Colorado State, and FCS Montana State and Montana. The squad’s best win was over Eastern Washington. Weber State is the third-lowest ranked team in the field.
