Former College President Paul Verkuil ’61 was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 3 to be Chairman of the newly reconstituted Administrative Conference of the United States.
The ACUS is a body of experts responsible for making recommendations to Congress and federal agencies concerning the efficiency, soundness and fairness of agency procedures.
Verkuil, who headed the College between 1985 and 1992, was nominated by President Barack Obama in Nov. 2009.
