Both the women’s soccer and field hockey programs advanced to the Colonial Athletic Association tournament semi-finals Friday. Follow a Twitter-based recap of William and Mary’s post-season run below.
Head coach John Daly and the women’s soccer program fell in penalty kicks after failing to break a 2-2 tie through both regular time and two overtimes. The Tribe finish the year at 8-2-7 overall, with a 5-1-2 mark in conference play.

Head coach Tess Ellis, fresh off CAA Co-Coach of the Year honors, lead the College into a semi-final match against No. 17 Delaware. Despite a late goal, the Blue Hens advanced to the conference final by virtue of a 4-2 win. The Tribe ends the year at 8-11 overall, and 3-3 within the conference.
