Virginia Public Schools Gain Millions From Lottery

Even though a Virginian didn’t win the big Mega Millions jackpot, Virginia public schools still made away with a cool $22 million in profit from the ticket sales, according to The Associated Press. Schools weren’t the only winners — officials say that Virginia retailers made more than $2.4 million in selling commissions.
