A 13-year-old Toano Middle School student, who was accused of setting fire to his father’s house, brought a knife to his school last month with the intent to stab another boy.

A school resource officer learned of the attack and found the teen armed while in a school bathroom.

A separate investigation by fire marshals of the boy’s alleged arson discovered the boy’s searches online concerning bomb-making, how to kill someone, and how to dispose of a dead body.
