Another New Town retail store closure

Continuing New Town retail’s downward trend, Pacific Sunwear closed Thursday due to insufficient sales, according to an article in WY Daily.

The surf and skateboarding apparel store opened first in New Town, but competed for sales with the Pac Sun “value store” in the Prime Outlets, which opened about two years ago.

Cheeburger Cheeburger, a retro-style burger chain, closed in late January. Other closures include that of Old Navy, Great Harvest Bread Co. and the national clothing chain J. Jill.
