Metal Thefts in Hampton

Hampton police have arrested five men in connection with a series of metal thefts this month, collectively valued at $1,000 in stolen goods. Two men were charged with stealing and re-selling copper from a shed owned by Dominion Virginia Power. Three others have been charged with stealing scrap metal from G&R Metals on two separate occasions.
