Delegate wants drug ingredient outlawed

Del. Paula Miller (D-Norfolk) requested legislation to make the active ingredients in Spice illegal last week. What spices you ask? Chemically treated synthetic marijuana, sold as incense under the brand names K2, Red Dawn and LA Spice. The substance has already been banned by the military. Some reports have concluded that Spice is more potent than marijuana and results in levels of heightened paranoia.
