Texas A&M student government opposes illegal immigrant tuition breaks

The Texas A&M University Student Senate voted to oppose a state bill that would give in-state tuition to illegal immigrants.

According to the Chronicle for Higher Education,
Texas is one of 10 states that already allow in-state tuition for some illegal immigrants. Four states prohibit them from claiming a tuition break, Georgia and Louisiana, ban them entirely from public colleges.
