Prices May Rise on Historic Jamestown Tickets

Admission fees at Historic Jamestown may rise from $10 to $14 as the National Park Service outsources admission collections to Preservation Virginia, according to the Virginia Gazette. Tickets would provide admission to either Jamestown or the Yorktown Battlefield for up to seven days. “Modification of the fee structure will support the highly significant archaeological research at Historic Jamestown, the first permanent English colony in America, as well as facilitating enhanced educational programs and operations,” the Park Service and Preservation Virginia said in a joint release.
