Six-time all-American Elaina Balouris ’14 turned in another quintessential performance Saturday: a No. 6 finish in the senior women’s 8K race at the USA Track and Field National Cross Country Championships in Boulder, Colo. The finish places Balouris on the national team for the World Cross Country Championships.

Jon Grey ’11 placed No. 10 in the senior men’s 12K, giving him another chance to race for Team USA. The finish marks Grey’s second national top-10 performance after his No. 10 finish in December’s Club Nationals.

Two current athletes — freshman Regan Rome and sophomore Faris Sakallah — each competed in the junior division. Rome placed No. 9 in the 6K while Sakallah crossed No. 12 in the 8K.

Complete rosters will be announced later this week.
