Let Freedom Ring: First Baptist Church Bell Restored

The First Baptist Church of Williamsburg celebrates the restoration of their church bell by ringing the bell everyday throughout the month of February. The Church was founded by slaves in in 1776 and the now restored bell is a symbol of black strength and faith. The Flat Hat talks to the Reverend of the Church and members of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation who worked on cleaning the bell.
