Never known to beat a dead horse, the Flat Hat was on the hunt for student opinion regarding the construction of a mosque (what some are referring to as a cultural center) near the site of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. More recently, Florida pastor Terry Jones has canceled his plan to burn copies of the Koran this Saturday. Jones claimed that he had reached a deal with those planning Park51 so that he would cancel the book burning, and in exchange the location of the cultural center would be moved. The planners of Park51 are unaware of such a deal.
