Williamsburg Regional Library a Finalist for Prestigious Award.

According to the Virginia Gazette Williamsburg Regional Library has been named a finalist for the National Medal for Museum and Library Services, which is the Institute of Museum and Library Services’s highest award. The medal is the nation’s highest honor given by the organization. “People of all ages seek out institutions like Williamsburg Regional Library for opportunities to advance their education, to learn new skills for the 21st century, for cultural connections and for civic engagement,” said Susan Hildreth, the institute’s director.
