A Williamsburg man bought a Tesla-certified, used Roadstar for about $130,000 after adding upgrades, such as a dash-mounted GPS system. The Virginia Gazette notes that he is the only Williamsburg resident to own an entirely electric sports car. Tesla only made about 2,400 Roadstars before shutting down the production line. According to the owner, the Roadstar costs him approximately 5 cents per mile to operate. He claims there are more Tesla sedans in the Newport News area.
