Women’s basketball: La Salle tops College, 73-59 [Photos]

Coming off the program’s first win of the season, head coach Ed Swanson and William and Mary couldn’t keep the momentum going against La Salle Thursday, falling 73-59.

Junior forward Jazmen Boone led all scorers with a career-high 24 points Thursday and the College (1-6) had three players score in double-digits, but  La Salle (3-4) pulled away thanks to a series of second-half runs.

The College returns to action Dec. 18, hosting in-state rival Radford. Tip is set for 7 p.m.
