Collegesurfing.com ranked the College 24th out of 50 in social media innovation, earning it a silver medal in College Surfing’s first-ever Web 2.0 College Olympics.

The College earned its medal for its use of the University Relations’s Twitter account to popularize the video of students breaking the record for the number of people doing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance.

The College’s student blogs, to be found on the College’s website, also played a role in the College’s achievement of the award.
