University of Virginia Living Wage Campaign announces hunger strike
The University of Virginia’s Living Wage Campaign announced a hunger strike at a rally on the steps of the Rotunda Saturday. According the Cavalier Daily, 12 students involved with the campaign will not eat until the university’s administrators meet the demands of the organization: a $13 minimum wage, with annual adjustments, for all university employees.
