Kaine, Wittman garner wins in Williamsburg
Democrat Timothy Kaine is the projected declared the winner of the Virginia Senate election with 50.69 percent of the vote. Republican George Allen received 50.78 percent of the vote. 2,334 out of 2,588 precincts have reported. Kaine received 5,041 votes in Williamsburg, whereas Allen received 2,542.
Republican Rob Wittman has won the House of Representatives District 1 election with 57.52 percent of the vote. Democrat Adam Cook recieved 39.99 percent of the vote. 207 our of 222 precincts have reported. Cook received 4,357 votes in Williamsburg, whereas Wittman received 2,814.
All precincts have reported in Williamsburg.
