Saturday, Oct. 8, William and Mary (3-2-6, 2-1-3 CAA) tied division leader Elon (7-3-2, 4-1-1 CAA) 0-0.

The highlight of the match came in the 55th minute, when graduate student goalkeeper Danilo Nikcevic came off his line to save a one-on-one with Elon junior forward Ben Rosenblatt to keep Elon off the board. The Tribe remained disciplined defensively to preserve the shutout, not allowing any other shots on goal. This game marks the fifth in the last six where the Tribe have not conceded a goal.

There was not much action for the Tribe offensively, as they only managed four shots throughout the whole game with none on target. Junior forward Diba Nwegbo recorded two of the shots and generated the most action up front, threatening to get in on goal several times.
