Thursday, May 18, The College of William and Mary announced a new food service partnership with Aramark. The 10-year contract will begin July 1, 2023, marking the end of a partnership with Sodexo since July 2014.

The announcement comes alongside plans to modernize residential and dining facilities on-campus in the coming years.

“This new partnership is an exciting step in food service at William & Mary and will ensure our community has a best-in-class dining program,” Executive Director for Auxiliary Services Jackson Matthews said

The partnership will provide expanded menu and diet options and increased opportunities to use dining dollars off-campus at places like the Williamsburg Farmers Market. The dining contract will also bring in Column 15 as the new coffee vendor on campus. Since Dining employees are employed directly by the contractor, non-managerial staff will have the opportunity to transition to the new contract.

The All Access meal plan, which freshman and sophomore undergraduate students will be enrolled in, will cost $2,885 per semester, an increase of $262.
