Sadeghian ’12 wins SA election
Kaveh Sadeghian ’12 and Molly Bulman ’12 won the Student Assembly presidential and vice presidential election Thursday.
Sadeghian and Bulman won the election with 56 percent of the vote, while runners up David Alpert ’13 and Tam Middleton ’14 took 41 percent of the vote. There were more votes cast for gender-neutral housing and STI testing referendums than for SA president. Both referendums passed by large majorities.
“I am so thankful to everyone who supported us, and [I am] relieved and excited to get started on everything,” Sadeghian said.
Breaking News: Sadeghian wins SA presidential election
Kaveh Sadeghian '12 and Molly Bulman '12 have won the Student Assembly presidential and vice presidential election.
Sadeghian and Bulman received 1,538 votes, which constitutes 56 percent of the vote, while David Alpert '13 and Tam Middleton '14 garnered 1,127 votes, which counted for 41 percent of the vote. Write-in candidate Ian Goodrum '12 received 25 votes, 3 percent of the presidential vote.
The ballot also contained two SA referendums, which both passed.

The College of William and Mary Student Assembly Senate passed the Student Money Protection Act by a vote of 16-0-1 at its meeting Tuesday.
The bill is a response to the recent discovery by student auditors that money from the Consolidated Student Publications Reserve Fund was used to pay the salaries of two graduate assistants in the past three years.

Sexile is a phenomenon known in college dorms everywhere. A student is displaced from his or her own room while his or her roommate enjoys some private time with a significant other.
Although sexile is not a new occurrence in college dorms, the issue has received renewed publicity in recent months. This September, Tufts University created an official rule: No sex when your roommate is in the room — or kicking hem out to have sex. This also includes roomates’ study hours, sleeping hours or privacy being disturbed.
