Vivian Hoang is from Fairfax, Virginia and hopes to use her History and Journalism & Mass Communications double major to uplift marginalized voices through digital media. Outside of the Flat Hat newspaper, she is the Chief of Staff of Flat Hat Magazine and tutors at the Writing Resources Center. If you spot her on campus, she's probably talking and ranting with her close friends for way too many hours, writing/editing articles, or stressing over a ten page paper in Swem. She is passionate about topics related to identity, race, ethnicity, burnout, and anxiety.
